Dr. Marco is the Founder and Director of Stonington Natural Health Center.  Dr. Marco became interested in acupuncture due to her background in psychobiology and the mind-body connection.  She brings her expertise to us from the prestigious Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she received a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine after earning her Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience from the distinguished Bowdoin College.

Joy Gaffney is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Neuromuscular Reprogramming ("NMR").  Her main focus with NMR massage is to help promote a healthy balance between the muscle groups.  This therapy utilizes a form of positive kinesthetic conversation with the body to imprint new learnings on the motor control center of the brain, and replace damaged imprints created through trauma, injury, or repetitive strain.

Joy is a Ussi Reiki Master who facilitates the "Universal Life Force Energy,""Chi," to help promote healing,  peacefulness and relaxation through specific Chakra healing techniques.  She has been practicing Shamanism for over five years and continues to study under Rev.
