Dr. Megan Marco trained with renowned acupuncturist Virginia Doran, who researched and brought the traditional Facial Rejuvenation techniques from ancient Chinese medical texts into modern clinical practice.  Then, to gain more skills, Dr. Marco studied with Virginia’s competitor, Acupuncturist Michelle Gellis.  With Michelle Gellis, Dr. Marco learned many other techniques from the ancient texts, including using intradermal needles, Facial Cupping and Gua Sha, as well as modern techniques such as Microneedling.

 

A complete Facial Rejuvenation program consists of 15 treatments performed relatively close together, followed by a personalized maintenance program, typically every other week to once a month.

 

At Stonington Natural Health Center, we may combine acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and topical herbal preparations to address the individual needs of each person. Home care, including organic creams, herbs, and supplements when appropriate, can complement and help maintain your results.

 

Unlike Botox, the Acupuncture Facelift does not use botulinum toxin. It does not require surgery, fillers, or injected cosmetic chemicals.
